The short film I liked was "Cool Unicorn Bruv". This is mainly because of the comedic effect, but also the script and story line. It was in someways realistic as it follows somebody trying to buy a bike, and somebody trying to make they bike seem amazing when a unicorn comes along. It works well because of how it seems realistic (other than the unicorn) and how they act so cool about it, like its a normal thing. I also like how they stuck to the 180 degree rule and the eye line match as they both stare out of view of the camera, and the unicorn appears. I also like the match on action at the end as the person walks off with his unicorn, and the guy selling his bike stares into the mist, creating an effect that its mythical but also his chances of selling the bike have disappeared like the unicorn into the mist. The establishing shot at the start is good as it shows how its a dodgy area, linking in with the dodgy deal of the bike, which is ruined by the unicorn which is completely out of place, adding to the comedic effect.
